little bit of news

Finally got a result back from the HER/2 test. It was equivacol (sp??). Which means they do not know. There was not enough of the sample to determine yes or no. I hope to find out what to do next about that from my doctor on Monday. I also found out in a round about way that my bone scan and x-ray are clean!!!!!! YEAH!!!!! There are some questions about my back which is why all the scans were done on Tuesday. One more bit of news. I have an appt with my surgeon on Dec. 8th. Her name is Kelly Hunt. She was highly recommended to me by one of our contacts! She is the chief of the breast surgical center! Here is a link to her bio

And we keep moving on!

Hey Girl! It's been a long time since I've seen you, but I keep up with your beautiful family through Mandi. I'm shocked and saddened to hear about what you are going through. God has given you what you need to beat this - a positive spirit, great family & friends to lean on, the experts in the doctors, etc. He will help you find a way when you think there is no way.
You are in my prayers daily. Don't give up. Take those long Filly legs of yours and kick this breast cancer right in the ass!!!
Please keep blogging as I will be following your progress and knowing exactly what to pray for.
Lots of Love,
Dedie McMann-Tiscani

Things seem to be moving quickly, which is great. Thank goodness you got in at MD Anderson. I'm sure any kind of answers/results are good to hear. Take care!
